You can simply go to my websites or blog site for more details.

But here is a quick answer:

1) We started with the Visx laser in 1990;
2) Then we adopted an advanced to a more laser by Alcon in 1997;
3) Blade LASIK was introduced in about 1997-8;
4) The blade was replaced in 2002 ( Intralase laser ) a laser at all our centers by what became known as:
5) No-blade, or Bladeless, or All-Laser LASIK. The most advanced and safest LASIK procedure possible. Few centers offer this advanced LASIK. Why? Because it is a very expensive LASIK for a center to decide to acquire. Therefore they may simply offer PRK for all patients, or some centers will also offer blade LASIK.
