- Hi Doctor. I am currently being treated for dry eyes. My eye doctor has permenantly blocked both my upper & lower tear ducts to see if this helps before he puts me on rystasis (sp?). Right now everytime I put my contacts in, my corneas get highly inflamed. My questions to you is 2 part. Can I get the lasik with my tear ducts blocked & can I get the lasik with my corneas inflamed or do I have to wait till they are better? Thanks for your help. Tara Gaddy
- Hi Dr Russo, I have been wearing coloured / cosmetic lense for a while. I was thinking of getting LASIK done. Can I still wear cosmetic lense post surgery? If yes, how long lead time should I need and any specific parameter like lense diameter or anything I should be aware of due to the changes after LASIK? Thanks Dr.

- My prescription has a higher cylindercal power of -3.75 and -3.25 with axis of 5 and 175 in my right and left eye. I want to wear contact lenses and as per the optical store guy the maximum cylindercal power available in TORIC lenses is -2.50 with axis of 180. He is asking me to try these lenses and I will not have any problems. Will these lenses work for me? or am I being conned into this.?
